Between summer drought's impact on Texas farms, fertilizer shortages initiated by the war in Ukraine, the push to control climate emissions with heavy regulations on farming and supply chain issues near and far, many are speculating that our ability to drive to the store and buy anything we want will soon end. Freezer storage is great when we have power, and diversifying with long-life, shelf-stable meals and ingredients is essential to ensure our ability to feed ourselves and families when the store shelves run dry. 

Our co-founder is mom and veteran paleo chef, Camille Macres. She's the creator of America's first paleo TV show, a suite of cooking education courses and has been a lunch lady and kids cooking teacher at several of her son's schools. Her recipes range from simple, kid-friendly faire like Orion's Favorite Spaghetti Sauce and Longhorn Mexican Beef (both loaded with hidden veggies) to more exotic flavors like Red Curry Beef and Green Chile Chicken & Greens, paying homage to her New Mexican roots, and items that utilize the seasonal bounty like Pickled Okra and Vanilla Cantaloupe Jam. There's something on our menu for everyone.
